Green water, not very clear |
Check pH value and adjust it to 7.2 – 7.8. Superchlorinate. Brush walls and bottom and then add clarifier. |
COLOURED WATER |
At the beginning and after the initial treatment, water turns brown or green. |
Adjust pH value to 7.2 – 7.8. Scatter fast-dissolving granular chlorine directly on the swimming pool. Add clarifier. |
CLOUDY WATER |
Water is not very clear and somewhat milky looking because of rain or intensive use. |
Adjust pH value to 7.2 – 7.8. Keep chlorine level to 0.6 – 1.5 ppm. Add precipitant or clarifier and wait from 24 to 48 hours. |
SMELL OF CHLORINE AND EYE IRRITATION |
Excess of chloramines (combined chlorine) and organic matter in the swimming pool water. |
Adjust pH value to 7.2 – 7.8.
Wash the filter.
Superchlorinate. |
